I was diagnosed by my doctor 2 years ago with HSV1. My blood test said negative but she looked at it and said positive. I had a repeat blood test 2 weeks ago and my value was <0.91. What does this mean? Do I have it or not?
At <0.91 on a number of tests is indeterminate. Meaning it not sure so you would want to repeat the test say in a few weeks. Also you could know for sure by having a swap done when you have symptoms like a sore, blisters, weeping. Then have that cultured. Your doctor should be able to do that. Then you will know for sure if you have herpes or not.
