i had protected sex with a hiv positive woman, the condom didnt break but 3 day later she tole me she was hiv positive. i got tested 2 week later and it came back negative . should i be worried and was the test accurate consider i took the test two weeks after.

    Going for a HIV test can be a very scary thing, especially if you think you may have been exposed to the virus but you did the right thing by getting tested. From what I have read HIV antibody tests do not work as soon as you are infected. This is because it usually takes several weeks to generate antibodies to HIV. Most people generate this response within 4–6 weeks. So if you are still feeling uneasy then you might ant to get tested again
